Breathe. And then say to yourself “One thing at a time.”
Have 3 loads of laundry to put away… from last week!? A LONG holiday to do list? Or something similar?
Say, and repeat to yourself, “One thing at a time.” Put one shirt away, then one pair of socks, then one sweater… and pretty soon, you’ve got a lot done!
Focus on the one, and remember that one is better than none!
Breaking up your projects into smaller ones, will help you focus, and hopefully make you feel less overwhelmed.
And even if you don’t finish everything you wanted, make sure you give yourself kudos for what you DID get done! YAY for you!
